Integrated Platform

During the project implementation, research efforts will be devoted to the realization of an integrated platform of assistive technology, to be installed in the Pilot Demo Sites (Living Labs).

The platform is aimed to improve Life Quality of Elderly @Home, being compliant with traditional and innovative IOT solutions.

The 3rd generation of AAL sustains the need for integration of home sensors and wearable devices, as a timely and innovative approach as respect the current State of The Art, mainly consisting of single and not compliant devices.

The block diagram depicted in Fig. 1 describes the functions and hierarchical organization of the Assistive Technology framework adopted in NATIFLife.
